‘Singhu border killing was unfortunate, won’t affect the farmer’s protest’, said Rakesh Tikait

Bhartiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait said that the man killed near the Singhu border was ‘unfortunate’.

BKU leader, Tikait said that whatever happened was unfortunate and that the police has caught the killer and that it won’t affect the protests.

DSP Hansraj stated that an FIR has been registered for the same.

Yesterday, a body of a man was found at the Singhu border farmer’s protest site.  His hands and legs were chopped off and it was hanging on a police barricade.

The man is identified now, his name is Lakhbir Singh and he is from Cheema Khurd village in Tarn Taran district of Punjab.

The police informed the agency that he was around 35 to 36 years old and was a labourer. He didn’t have any connections to any political party neither he had a criminal record.
