A political comment from Satya Paul Malik raised a lot of questions and attention. He said that when he was the governor of Jammu and Kashmir, no terrorists entered the state within 50 – 100 km and now they were killing poor and innocent people.

Satya Paul Malik’s statement was regarding the recent killings of civilians by terrorists that were aimed especially towards non-locals.

On October 17, two workers in Bihar were shot dead in south Kashmir by terrorists and before this, a street vendor and a carpenter were killed on October 16. Currently, 11 people have lost their lives because of these shootings this month.

The terrorist killings have shaken the entire country and the opposition leaders of the country are questioning why it is happening in the first place and what is being done to stop it. Innocent lives were lost for no reason in these killings. Jammu and Kashmir remain in the dark although it is the so-called ‘heaven on earth’ of India.
