Aryan Khan’s fundamental rights must be protected, victim of vendetta NCB official: Shiv Sena leader to SC
NCB arrested Aryan Khan on October 2 and he is currently in Arthur Road jail in Central Mumbai with connection to the alleged seizure of drugs from a cruise ship.
A Maharashtra Minister and Shiv Sena leader supported Aryan Khan and stated in a petition to the SC that the fundamental rights of Aryan Khan must be protected and the whole case of NCB must be thoroughly investigated.
Shiv Sena leader Kishore Tiwari urged the SC to take suo moto cognizance and protect Shah Rukh Khan’s son’s fundamental rights.
He stated in his plea about the dirty approach of NCB and its officials aiming selected celebrities for the past 2 years and requested the Supreme Court to take the right action. He said this to news agency PTI.
Tiwari also directed this statement to NCP leader and Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik moulding slurs on the NCB and stated that it is high time that the agency is checked by a top court judge to reveal the truth.
Aryan Khan is in jail. A special court posted bail applications of Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha on October 20 under the NDPS Act (Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances) 10 days after their arrest.
NCB team leader Sameer Wankhede had raided the Goa cruise ship on October 2 after they received a tip-off of a rave party happening on the ship. According to reports, the team seized 13 grams of cocaine, 21 grams of charas, 5 grams of mephedrone and 22 MDMA pills and Rs 1.33 lakh cash. The NCB has arrested 20 people under various sections of the NDPS act till now.
