PM Narendra Modi will be launching big projects in Uttar Pradesh on October 25 as he will visit Varanasi and Siddharthnagar that is his parliamentary constituency.
He will inaugurate 9 medical colleges in Siddharthnagar and 30 projects totalling Rs 5,000 crore.
A possible national medical scheme may also be on the cards worth Rs 64,000 crore from Varanasi.
In Siddhartnagar and Varanasi, he is scheduled to hold big public meetings which look like a run-up to the election campaign for the UP elections coming early next year.
Two days ago, PM Modi inaugurated Kushinagar international airport in UP and before that he was in Aligarh.
Next month he will be travelling to Lucknow to inaugurate Uttar Pradesh’s longest Purvanchal Expressway.
Sources in the UP Government stated that PM Modi will also announce the mega ‘Pradhan Mantri Atmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana’ from Varanasi that was announced in the yearly budget of Rs 64,180.
The scheme announcement is most likely going to happen but it is not decided yet, the source added. If the intel is right, then this scheme will become the 3rd largest scheme that PM Modi will launch from UP after Swachh Bharat and Ujjwala Yojana.
The upcoming scheme will include the development of healthcare systems and institutes like supporting 17,788 rural healthcare centres and developing 11,024 urban healthcare centres in all states.
It will also establish 3,382 block public health units in 11 states with critical care units in 602 districts.
