Around 75 Kashmiri Pandits Join National Conference in Jammu

Many Kashmiri Pandits attended the National Conference in Jammu at a function hosted by party chief Farooq Abdullah. He has promised the pandits to raise their issues and discuss resolutions of their demands.

The 75 Kashmiri pandits were aided by National Conference minority cell president MK Yogi, who met Farooq at his residence where various fundamental issues of the migrant community living in terror for more than 30 years was discussed.

MK Yogi raised issues with the NC chief included enhancement of monthly relief assistance from KPs from Rs. 13,000 to Rs 25,000, safety and security of PM package employees working in Kashmir and looking after their accommodation.

According to the press release, Abdullah said that all their demands will be raised to the government and on the Parliament.

The NC chief welcomed new entrants to the party. He assured the community leaders that all the issues will be raised to the government to get speedy solutions.

He further added that Kashmiri Pandits are a significant part of the rich culture of Jammu and Kashmir and their party is committed to keeping Kashmir safe and signified. He was elated to see such massive support for the party and that this will help J&K restore its invaded rights and make the state better.

With the recent attacks on migrant workers in Kashmir, people are terrified while the Kashmiri Pandits are trying to raise their voices for justice.
