Ahead of the anticipated India – Pakistan match, Virat Kohli said that Hardik Pandya is fit and ready to bowl at some stage during the tournament.
He said this to the reporters on Saturday. He also said that Hardik is an amazing batter and precious to the team.
He said that he wouldn’t want to force Pandya to do something he is not ready for yet.
He added what Pandya brings at No. 6 is something the team can’t create overnight.
Talking about Pakistan, he said that they are a strong team and their team needs to come up with a strong strategy and execute it well.
On asked upon his retirement as T20I captaincy, he stated that he has already explained why he took that decision and there is no point discussing it.
Virat Kohli had recently announced that this would be his last T20 International World Cup that he will play as a captain.
India and Pakistan are going to play on October 24 in Dubai and the entire nation is looking forward to the match.
