California high court refuses to hear Brad Pitt appeal, custody battle with Angelina Jolie to start again
The California Supreme Court on Wednesday refused Brad Pitt’s appeal of a court ruling that The California Supreme Court on Wednesday refused Brad Pitt’s appeal of a court ruling that dismissed the judge in his custody battle with Angelina Jolie.
The court denied reviewing the court decision of June’s appeal that said the private judge for the case should be dismissed for failing to properly disclose his business relationships with Pitt’s attorney.
The Supreme Court decided to finalize this decision. This directs the custody battle to a new direction that the couple have been fighting for over their 5 children.
Angelina Jolie’s attorney Robert Olson said that Jolie is focused on her family and she is happy that now her children’s wellbeing won’t be directed towards unethical behaviour in an email.
Pitt’s attorney however didn’t comment on the latest development.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were Hollywood’s most celebrated couple for 12 years. A former Los Angeles County Superior court judge, John Ouderkirk, had solemnized their wedding in 2014. Within 2 years he was then hired to oversee their divorce when Angelina filed for the same in 2016. John Ouderkirk was their attorney and the divorce was officially done in 2019. The couple has 6 children and the 5 of them are under custody decisions as they are minors.
