Mumbai Drugs Case: NCB Mulls Filing Appeal Against Aryan Khan’s Bail Before Supreme Court

After the Bombay HC said that there is hardly any evidence found against Aryan Khan in the drugs case, the NCB (Narcotics Control Bureau) is now considering whether they will file an appeal against Aryan Khan’s bail before the SC.

The NCB is taking legal suggestions now after examining the Bombay High Court bail order. Aryan Khan, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha were granted bail by the Bombay HC on October 28. The star kid was allowed to go home after spending around 25 days in jail as his bail was rejected in the special court.

The Bombay HC said that there is hardly any positive evidence against the trio who were arrested in the cruise drugs case, for the offence of conspiracy under the NDPS Act (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances). The court said this in their detailed order. The HC also added that Aryan Khan was not in possession of drugs while Arbaaz and Munmun had small quantities of drugs under the NDPS Act.

The cruise drugs case garnered a lot of attention after Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son was arrested for the same. The industry came in full support for King Khan and his son in this difficult time. Sameer Wankhede who was investigating this case also faced some backlash and the rift is still going after Maharashtra MLA Nawab Malik has been claiming all sorts of allegations on Wankhede every other day. There are many cases of defamation cases against Malik under process.

After Aryan Khan was granted bail, thousands of fans came with posters and dhols at Mannat to welcome him home, it was one interesting sight to see. From here where the case goes, only time will tell.
