By next year in May JioTV, JioTablet tipped to be launched

In India, recently, Reliance launched an affordable smartphone, “JioPhone Next.” The smartphone was positioned for first-time smartphone converts and came with an aggressive price tag.

It was suggested by a new report that the company, apart from phones, is also working on other hardware products and might enter next year into new hardware categories.

It was claimed by the report that the company for the Indian audience is working on a new Jio tablet; it was also added that a new Jio TV might also be on its way to the market. A Jio Laptop is also tipped by rumours earlier.

Tipster Mukul Sharma, cited by 91Mobiles, reported that two new Jio hardware products are to be launched by the telecom giant by next year. The two new hardware products are reported to be the Jio TV and the Jio Tablet.

However, a fixed timeline for both the hardware products is not known yet, and also, the specifications are not leaked till now. Tipster Mukul Sharma added that if speculated, the two products are likely to be in the highly-affordable space as same as the JioPhone Next.

PragatiOS is the software specifically designed for the JioPhone Next by Reliance and Google on which the first-ever Jio Tablet is likely to process. Google Play Store should be accessible by the Tablet, and it should be powered by a Qualcomm chipset.

The Jio TV could come with support for several OTT platform apps; also, the Jio Fiber set-top box might be bundled with the Jio TV. The Jio Tv is likely to come in different sizes options as well. If the giant telecom is really developing these two hardware products, then soon more leaks about specifications and their pricing might be available in the future.

JioBook is the first-ever Laptop; Reliance company is reported to be working on. It is said that the Laptop will be powered by a MediaTek MT8788 SoC along with 2 GB of RAM. It also tipped that it might be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC paired with a Snapdragon X12 4G modem, and it might feature an HD display (1,366×768 pixels).

Microsofts apps such as Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Teams, and Office would be pre-installed in the JioBook along with apps such as JioMeet, JioPages, and JioStore.
