Just like how you can undo deleted emails quickly on Gmail, now you will be able to delete your status with the new ‘undo’ option on WhatsApp.
You can undo accidental status updates in one click now unlike before where you have to go all the way to Status options, hit the three-dot menu and delete it. WABetaInfo released a new report that suggests that WhatsApp is currently working on the undo button. As soon as you upload a status, there will be an undo button beside the notification through which you can delete it instantly.
The previous method is also quick but this one is quick and convenient. Maybe in the previous method, those couple of seconds can be harmful as someone might screenshot what you posted accidentally.
Check out how the undo button will look like here:
The WABetaInfo report suggested that currently it is available for some iOS users and it will be available to more iOS users in a few days. For Android users, there is currently no news of when this feature will be available for them. However, when WhatsApp launches this undo button on iOS, they will eventually launch it for Android as well.
WhatsApp recently introduced features like logging in from multiple devices, joining ongoing group calls by making it more convenient for the users to use and navigate through the app.
WhatsApp has recently launched a sticker maker feature for WhatsApp Web where users can make stickers from their existing photos. This is an interesting and useful feature as this function was possible by third-party apps previously.
