Narendra Modi In Varanasi News Updates: PM Prays at Kaal Bhairav Temple, Heads to Lalita Ghat to Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple

From gorgeous murals depicting the rich culture and heritage of Banaras and the beautiful illumination of several buildings near the Kashi Vishwanath temple site, the heritage city is all set to welcome PM Narendra Modi who is going to launch the Kashi Vishwanath Dham today.

CM Yogi Adityanath shared a montage of the Kashi Vishwanath Inaugration ahead of the event.

The total cost of the Kashi Vishwanath Dham construction is predicted to be Rs 339 crores. PM Modi will dedicate this project to the people of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor that is at the centre of Varanasi. The ancient temple has massive tourists and pilgrims visiting across India and abroad. Even until Sunday evening, construction workers were busy polishing stones, decorating the temple with flowers and setting up for today’s event.

Before the inauguration ceremony, PM Modi offered his prayers at the Kaal Bhairav Mandir.

Now PM Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath are on their way to Kashi Vishwanath Temple at Khirkiya Ghat.

The CMs of 12 BJP ruled states and 9 Deputy CMs will attend the 2-day conclave in Varanasi that will begin today. According to BJP National Secretary Arun Singh, the 12 CMs participating are from Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Tripura, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Manipur, Uttar Pradesh.

PM Modi will be inaugurating phase – 1 of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor today. The PMO stated that it will be an easy pathway to connect Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple to the holy Ganga River.

The PMO also mentioned that this was PM Modi’s vision for a long time to facilitate the pilgrims and devotees who had to offer their prayers in congestion, poor and unhygienic surroundings when they practised the traditional custom of taking a dip in the holy river and then collecting the water and offering it at the temple.
