Here is good news for you all. Instagram is testing for its Stories that would let users post videos not of 15 seconds but 60 seconds long. The feature was first spotted in Turkey. Currently, any video longer than 15 seconds splits into many stories automatically when you post.
Instagram recently improved its stickers by adding a variety of new ones and enhancing the old ones. Now you can add links in your stories that were previously possible only for big accounts. The photo-sharing app recently introduced Instagram Badges last month for creators to earn money through their followers.
Social Media consultant Matt Navarra, Instagram started to notify a few users about this 60 seconds update. The previous one that let users only 15 seconds of a video in a single story was a hassle especially when you have to tag someone. You have to separately tag them in multiple stories. However, with this new change, you don’t have to go through that inconvenience. This new update of Instagram can be an attempt to beat rivals TikTok and Snapchat.

Instagram improved the stories option even better. They added a sticker ‘Add Yours’ where you can encourage other people to post a photo related to the sticker and forward it ahead so that more people can join the trend. For example, people suddenly started posting sunset and sunrise photos through this sticker when someone started with the trend. The second sticker that was needed for a long time is a Link sticker that comes with a personalized colour and text options. It also allows you to edit the text of the link to make it more attractive and add backgrounds, images to improve its visibility.
Instagram started to roll Badges in November; they allow users to support content creators during a Live video on the platform. Users who are 18 years above with more than 10k followers in selected countries can use these badges. Once you purchase this badge, you will see it appear beside the comments section in the Live.
However, the Badge feature is not available in all countries yet, if it is launched in all countries soon, just like Youtube, content creators will have another platform to earn from.
