Sukesh Chandrashekhar paid huge amount of money to get introduced to Jacqueline Fernandez: ED

Conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar is accused of a Rs 200 crores money laundering case. He is also believed to have paid a huge amount of money to Pinky Irani to get introduced to Bollywood Jacqueline Fernandez. Pinky Irani is an aide of Sukesh who was recently arrested by the ED (Enforcement Directorate) on Friday and ED officials confronted Pinky Irani and Sukesh in Tihar Jail, according to the news agency ANI reports. Both of them were asked the same questions and their statements were recorded, ANI reported.

ED officials after their interrogation said that Irani introduced Sukesh to Jacqueline Fernandez after she got a huge amount of money for the work. Spending crores to get his work done isn’t something new for Sukesh as ED officials earlier found that he was paying the prison staff of Rohini jail in crores to permit him to run his extortion racket.

Inside the jail he was given an entire barrack where he was free to use his two mobile phones, all the CCTV cameras are covered there. The officials also found out that Sukesh was in jail when the Ex-Ranbaxy promoter’s wife Aditi Singh was duped of Rs 200 crore.  She used to meet her husband Shivinder Mohan Singh in jail. Sukesh met Aditi Singh in jail, then using a virtual number he posed as a central government official and promised bail of her husband in exchange for Rs 200 crores. ED officials are now looking into this case and where the money is invested.

A while back, Jacqueline and Sukesh Chandrashekhar came under the radar after the investigators found out that Jacqueline received many expensive gifts from the conman. Jacqueline told ED officers that Sukesh posed as the owner of Sun TV and asked her to do South Indian films. She got in touch through her makeup artist who was called from the spoofing app impersonating a home ministry official.
