Today is Christmas, so the banks are supposed to be closed today as well for this national holiday. Amid the COVID 19 pandemic, the banks have seen a tough time as well just like any other sector. However, they are back and fully functioning for their customers. Recently, a nationwide protest against the privatization of banks was held on December 16 and 17. Many national banks like SBI, RBL and PNB were a part of it. In those two days, some customers faced issues while they went to the bank that day due to the protest.
