India ODI Squad For SA Tour Announced; KL Rahul Named Captain In Absence of Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan Returns

The All India Senior Selection Committee announced the team for the three-match ODI series against South Africa that will be played after the ongoing Test series. India is leading the test series by 1-0 currently.

KL Rahul is named as the captain of the ODI team for the South Africa series without Rohit Sharma playing the matches due to an injury. Rohit is missing the test series and he couldn’t get fit for the ODI series as well. Shikhar Dhawan is an important inclusion to the team who was not in favour for a long time. It will be a great chance for him to shine and make his spot back to the top for ODI cricket and T20 as well. T20 World Cup is scheduled later in the coming year in Australia.
