Good News for Govt Employees: Under 7th Pay Commission, employees are likely to get extra Rs 4,500 in Salary this Month I Here’s How
Good news for central government employees, you will get a bonus in your salary for January 2022. According to reports, the Centre will announce the same on January 26, 2022.
According to a Zee Business report, the Central government employees will get Rs 4,500 extra in their salary. However, to avail of this bonus, employees will have to fill a voucher. Another decision that can be on the cards this month is on the dearness allowance which has been stuck for more than 2 years. Apart from employees, pensioners will also get benefits.
How to claim 4,500?
The central government offers a variety of allowances to its employees. It includes Children Education Allowance (CEA). Due to COVID 19, they had offered such exemptions to their employees. If you haven’t claimed CEA yet, then you can claim it this month without any documents. Under this allowance, the Centre will give Rs 2250 for education.
Schools were shut due to COVID 19 and for this reason, employees were not able to claim the Children Education Allowance. In this case, the government planned to give the employees some relief and allowed them to claim CEA without any documentation. About 25 lakh employees have benefited from this. They are providing this allowance for the education of 2 children; if an employee has 2 children then Rs 4,500 will be given to them.
Hence, central government employees with 2 children can avail of this allowance of Rs 4,500 and in the case of one child, they will receive half the amount.
