Important News for UPSC CDS Aspirants: Registration ends on 11th January 2022 for Interview, check all details here.

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission will be conducting CDS (Combined Defence Services) exams on 10th April 2022 for 341 vacancies in the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) (both Men & Women).

The last date to apply for it online is approaching and that is 11th January 2022.  The UPSC CDS has also released the written exam result that was held on 22nd December 2021.

Stage I

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in OIR and PP & DT tests.

PP and DT test stands for Picture Perception and Description Test.

Stage II

Other selection procedures are implemented here like interviews, group testing officer tasks, psychology tests and the conference. The tests will be conducted over 4 days.

The Interview Process

The candidates who obtain minimum qualifying marks in the written exam will go-ahead with the second step i.e. Intelligence and Personality test. It has equivalent marks as that of the written exam. The interview is of two stages, candidates who clear the first one will go for stage II.

Candidates will be selected and taken to further steps based on the written test and then through the interview process. However clearing the tests doesn’t guarantee your admission for the above job posts, the final decision is taken after the medical fitness and vacancies available.
