The 2nd dose vaccination certificate has become a crucial document just like your Aadhar card, and most of the time when you visit a place that needs you to show the vaccination certificate, you go all the way to cowin.gov.in and then log in and then find your vaccine details and download the PDF file.
As it is a PDF file, you might not remember where exactly you have stored it in your phone, some people like me had saved it as a screenshot, but you may have tons of images in that folder too.
So, to avoid this hassle and if you don’t remember where you saved it before, you can now ask Whatsapp to do the job.
The tedious and long process of downloading the vaccine certificate from the Arogya Setu app or Cowin website is thing of the past as the Centre has introduced the ‘MyGov Corona Helpdesk’ chatbot on WhatsApp.
Let’s take a look at how it works:
- Step 1: Save the helpdesk number: +91 9013151515 on your mobile.
- Step 2: Open WhatsApp and send a text to this number, you have to write ‘Certificate’ from your registered mobile number.
- Step 3: The chatbot will send you a list of topics related to COVID 19, type the topic number you want to avail, like ‘Download Certificate’ is the 2nd option so to select it send ‘2’
- Step 4: It will again send you a list of 3 options which will have ‘Download CoWIN’ as the third option, Send 3 as a reply and it will confirm your request and your vaccination certificate will be sent.
So, here is a quick and easy way to get your vaccine certificate in a jiffy!
