Can the border conflict between India and China be resolved through communication via military channels

The Foreign Ministry of China spokesman Wang Wenbin remarked on Tuesday that the situation of Border conflict between China & India is now stable. He added that on Wednesday, the 14th round of talks on the Corps Commander Level would be conducted wherein the Agenda of disengagement of troops in the remaining areas of clash in eastern Ladakh will be discussed.

Even New Delhi Government officials have stated of looking forward towards a constructive dialogue between both the countries in the 14th round of discussions between military personnel of both countries in a period across 20 months.

January 12th has been earmarked for the “Senior Level Top Military Commander Level” discussions between India & China at the Chushul-Moldo meeting point located on the Chinese side of the border from the (LAC) Line of Actual Control in the area of Eastern Ladakh.

Wang Webin, Spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, has hoped that the Indian Government would try to resolve the high tension emergency mode into a normal regular manageable situation.

Wang further added that if measured at present, it can be safely said that the border conflict zone situation can be considered to be in a stable mode; also, further, improvement can be hoped through diplomatic & military communications opened up by both the countries under conflict.

The Indian side of military experts will focus on troops disengagement in the area of Hot Springs; they are also expected to discuss the remaining clash points for disengagement, also resolve pending issues of the areas of Depsang Bulge along with area issues of Demchok.
