Entry-level classes of Nursery, Kindergarten (KG) & Class 1 of Delhi private schools for the academic session of the year 2022-23 has begun, the admission applications for these entry-level classes was already underway by the 15th of December 2021.

The last date for submitting Delhi School application forms has been declared as the 21st of January, 2022. The list will be released by the ( DoE) Directorate of Education by the 4th of February 2022, while ending the process of admission has been planned for the 31st of March 2022.

The number of seats will not be less than the highest number of seats ever in the past three years for the entry-level classes since the year 2019 as per directions passed by the Directorate of Education.

The DoE has also directed that “No school shall use criteria which have been abolished by the department including charging of capitation fees or donations from the parents of the child concerned.

Schools run by trusts will follow a single process of admission for both their pre-schools & the main school as one institution.

Age Criteria for pre-school nursery, pre-primary KG & class 1 are three years, four years & five years, respectively, as per the 31st of March, 2022. These instructions by the Delhi Government are issued for open category admissions which are other than (CwSN) Children with Special Needs, Disadvantaged Groups (DG) & the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category of admissions.
