SHOCKING: Lata Mangeshkar (Didi) might not be discharged very soon, says Usha Mangeshkar

Legendary singer and Nightingale of India Lata Mangeshkar was tested COVID 19 positive on Saturday followed by pneumonia. She was then admitted to the ICU of Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai.

Her niece confirmed that she is hospitalized and was tested COVID 19 positive. Later, her sister Usha Mangeshkar talked about her condition to the media. The Mangeshkar family is worried about her condition but they are maintaining their calm. They are constantly in touch with the doctors.

According to an E-Times report, Usha Mangeshkar revealed that they cannot go to see her sister as it is a COVID 19 case. Usha Mangeshkar also added that Lata Mangeshkar might not be discharged very soon. “The doctors have said that they would keep her for an extra day or two because of her age.”

The legendary singer’s niece Rachna Shah said to News 18 that Lata Mangeshkar is stable, she is a fighter and she thanked all her fans across the nation who has kept her in prayers.

“The doctors are doing a wonderful job. Dr Pratik Samdani of Breach Candy hospital has also given a statement earlier in the day. The best doctors are on call and are attending her,” she added. According to the doctors, she may stay in the ICU for more than 10-12 days.
