The Chinese manufacturer has teased the release of the Realme 9 Pro+. The new model will most likely be released with the ordinary Realme 9 and Realme 9 Pro. Although Realme has yet to publish official data, Realme 9 Pro+ characteristics have leaked online. Some renderings claiming to depict the upcoming Realme phone have also surfaced. According to reports, the Realme 9 Pro+ would sport triple back cameras and a hole-punch display design. The phone may also use an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC.
The official Realme India Twitter account confirmed the debut of the Realme 9 Pro+ in the Realme 9 series. The teaser depicts the new phone’s Pro+ branding.
Along with the official confirmation, Smartprix revealed the Realme 9 Pro+ specs as well as renderings of the new phone’s design in partnership with tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer — also known as OnLeaks on social media.
The renderings depict the Realme phone with a gradient back and a hole-punch display. The device also looks to contain a triple camera arrangement on the back, as well as an LED flash.
Realme is expected to release the new smartphone in three separate color variants: Aurora Green, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Blue. However, the renderings appear to show the phone in the Midnight Black color. Furthermore, the tipster adds that the Realme 9 Pro and Realme 9 Pro+ will also share the same design language, with minimal changes in height and weight.
In terms of specs, the Realme 9 Pro+ is claimed to boast a 6.43-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone would also include a MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM. The Realme 9 Pro+’s triple rear camera arrangement is believed to have a 50-megapixel Sony primary sensor, as well as 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel secondary sensors. In addition, there will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front.
