BOLLYWOOD: Kartik Aaryan accused of ‘extremely unprofessional’ behaviour after threatening to walk out of Shehzada, says Manish Shah

The negative press doesn’t seem to leave Kartik Aryan as he is seen in yet another one. Producer Manish Shah accused Kartik Aaryan of his unprofessional behaviour and revealed that the Bollywood actor threatened to walk out of the Hindi remake of Allu Arjun-starrer ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s Shehzada if the dubbed version of the film was released in theatres.

However, the dubbed version of that movie was cancelled and Producer Shah decided to debut the film on his TV channel. He said that he agreed to it as he shares a good bond with Allu Arjun and other producers and not Kartik, he added that he doesn’t know him.

In an India Today interview, Shah said that the producers of Shehzada lost Rs 40 crore as Kartik walked out of the film. He said that ‘it was extremely unprofessional of him.’ Manish also claimed that he lost 20 crores because of this hiatus since he was expecting the Hindi dub to work better than the recent Hindi – dub Pushpa – The Rise that was also starring Allu Arjun. He added that he spent Rs 2 crore only on dubbing.

Shehzada is being produced by Allu Aravind in collaboration with Bhushan Kumar and Aman Gill. Allu Aravind was also a co-producer of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. This is not the first time Kartik Aryan has been in controversy with the producers. The actor had walked off of Dostana 2 for which he also began shooting with Dharma Productions. Dharma on the other hand said that they refuse to divulge into details and maintain a ‘dignified silence’ on the matter.
