This new feature will help users organize their groups under one roof.
WhatsApp has been experimenting with the community feature for a long time and now they are finally ready for a beta test.
According to a report by WABetaInfo which is a WhatsApp Beta Tracker, the 2.22.41 beta version has seen the Community Home feature and it will be available to the public in a future update. A screenshot of the same was updated by WABetaInfo, check it out here:
Users will get an option to manage their groups through Community Home. There is also a feature to edit a particular community from the settings option. The exact date as to when this update will be released is still not known. WABetaInfo reports state that the feature is under development and it will be available in the future update for both Android and iOS.
WABetaInfo had spotted this feature in November. It will help group admins to control their groups even better. It will not be just a roof for multiple groups but it will co-exist with normal groups too.
WhatsApp recently added two new local beta updates namely Amharic and Somali. With these two additions, the app owned by Meta is now supporting more than 40 languages in total.
