ENTERTAINMENT: Mithun Chakraborty, Gauahar Khan, Shruti Haasan to star in Psychological Thriller ‘Bestseller’
Veteran Actor Mithun Chakraborty along with Shruti Hasan, Arjan Bajwa, Gauhar Khan, Satyajeet Dubey and Sonalee Kulkarni will be in the latest OTT psychological thriller web series bought to you by Amazon Prime Video ‘Bestseller’. The series is all set to release on February 18. The eight-episode series is produced by Sidharth Malhotra’s Alchemy Production LLP and directed by Mukul Abhyankar.
Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals at Amazon Prime Video said that they try to bring diverse cinematic voices to the platform that are compelling, engaging and something different’.
She further added in an interview that “Our latest Amazon Original Series, Bestseller, is a fast-paced, gritty psychological thriller that will pull viewers deep into a vortex of flawed human nature and leave them hooked. It’s a complex world where nothing is quite as it seems, and the story gets darker.”

Siddharth Malhotra said that this series is not just a project but his dream that he has been planning for several years. He said, “I have had endless brainstorming sessions with my team nurturing, shaping and transforming this riveting story into a series that I believe will redefine ‘psychological thriller’ as a genre.”
Siddharth further added that the director of the series Mukul Abhyankar has written an incredible script and with this versatile and extremely talented cast, they are ready for a blockbuster premiere.
‘Bestseller’ will release on Amazon Prime Video on February 18. It is a new age suspense thriller that will begin with the lives of two strangers, and as they meet, their motivations and ambitions will surface creating a domino effect on many lives. It will be released worldwide in more than 240 countries.
