Budget 2022 News Updates: FM Nirmala Sitharaman to Present ‘Inclusive’ Budget at 11 AM

As the February month arrives, so is the budget of the FY 2022-23. Today, all eyes are set on Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as she will present the 4th budget of the Modi 2.0 government on Tuesday. The middle class, secondary sector like the industries and the market are rooting for some big announcements from Sitharaman as things look relatively favourable from a growth perspective.

Even this year, the budget will be paperless and the Finance Minister’s speech is scheduled to start at 11 am today. You can watch it live on Doordarshan today. It will also be airing on Sansad TV and other news channels.

With Budget Day, Sensex went up to 582.85 points and the current Sensex number stands at 58,597.02. Nifty went up to 156.20 points, currently, it is at 17,496.05.

FM Nirmala Sitharaman has left the Ministry of Finance. She will present the Budget 2022 at the Parliament through a tab instead of the traditional ‘bahi khata’.

The gold rates today fell by Rs 1,000/kg across the country. The gold rate today in Mumbai and Delhi is Rs 44,900/10g, according to the Goodreturns website. The budget session began on Monday (January 31)

This year, Infrastructure, social security and healthcare are likely to get preference. There might be some additional spending in these sectors. FM Nirmala Sitharaman will present an inclusive budget, keeping everyone’s benefit in mind. All sectors are looking forward to Budget 2022 including farmers.
