Jio is known for its affordability and unlimited plans, however, in recent days it is seeing new highs as its telecom prices have increased. But the good news is Reliance Jio is working on low-cost laptops which will be called ‘JioBook’ with Windows 10. According to GSM Arena, a Jio laptop was recently mentioned in a hardware certification document.

In the document, there were no specifications of the laptop other than the fact that it is ARM-based as opposed to x86 and is certified to run in the ARM version of Windows 10.
The laptop has already surfaced on Geekbench benchmarking site and it was also seen on BIS. In addition to that, hardware documents regarding the upcoming laptop have also been spotted online. All of this indicates that the launch might happen very soon and people will get JioBook at affordable rates.

There has been no indication as to what is going to be the price of the laptop. However, what we think is it will be targeted to Jio users, so the price range will be between Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 such that it competes with Xiaomi’s RedmiBook laptop which also has a similar price range.

There have been a lot of speculations on what will be the specifications of this laptop. It was tipped that it will have 2GB RAM with 32GB Storage. A 2nd model of 4GB Ram and 64GB Storage was also tipped.
Talking about the operating system, JioBook could be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and it may run on Android OS or JioOS. Some new reports state that it will work on Windows 10 operating system.
