CBSE on Wednesday announced that the examinations for Class 10 & 12 for Term 2 will be held from April 26, 2022. The Board further said that the date sheet for the exams will be given to the students soon and it will also be available on the website cbse.nic.in.
The CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj also added that the board exams for 10 & 12 will be conducted in offline mode only. “The board after discussions with various stakeholders and taking into consideration the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country has decided to hold term 2 examinations in offline mode,” Sanyam Bhardwaj said in a statement.
Talking about the paper pattern, Bhardwaj said that the pattern will be the same as Sample Question papers posted on the website. The sample papers were released by CBSE on their website last month. The students will appear for the exam in their respective centres like in previous years.
The development comes as a section of students had earlier asked the board to announce term 2 exam dates ahead of term 1 results to ensure their exam preparation is not affected.

CBSE had made it clear earlier that the Term 1 and 2 marks will make the final result. They also added that in Term 2, students will answer both subjective and objective type questions.
Due to the COVID 19 pandemic situation, the Board is conducting the exams in two terms for the first time. Last year, due to the 2nd wave, CBSE and other boards couldn’t conduct exams and came up with an alternate scheme to prepare results.
The CBSE also warned the students not to cater to fake news and check the website for any exam-related news. They also said that any news floating on social media must be verified with the website first. The CBSE is yet to release the result of Term 1 for Class 10 & 12.
