Samsung has finally launched its Galaxy S22 series which was one of the most anticipated releases in a long time. The series was launched on February 9 at its Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event.
The three phones launched in the series are Galaxy S22, S22+ and S22 Ultra. This year Samsung has added a new feature that allows low light photography with advanced ‘nightography.’
Price and Availability
S22 and S22+ will be available in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage options. And the S22 Ultra will be available in 8GB RAM + 128GB, 12GB RAM + 256GB, 12GB RAM + 512GB and 12GB RAM + 1TB storage options.
The price for S22 starts from $799 (Rs 59,900) and S22+ starts from $999 (Rs 74,800) and the S22 Ultra starts from $1,199 (Rs 89,700). Details about the pricing of this series in India are yet to be revealed by the company. The Galaxy S22 series will be available in the market from February 25.

The phone will run on Android 12 with 6.1 inches full HD display. The triple rear camera is equipped with a 50 MP primary dual camera along with a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. The selfie camera is 10MP. The phone is supported with a 3,700 mAH battery with fast charging at 25W.
Galaxy S22+ Specifications
This one will also run on Android 12 with a 6.6-inch full HD display. The triple rear camera is equipped with a 50 MP primary dual camera along with a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. The selfie camera is 10MP. The phone is supported with a 4,500 mAH battery with fast charging at 45W.
Galaxy S22 Ultra Specifications
It is one of the first S series that will have an S Pen built into the phone’s bday.
The phone will run on Android 12 with 6.8 inches full HD display. The triple rear camera is equipped with a 108 MP primary dual camera along with a 12MP ultra wide-angle camera and a 10MP telephoto camera. The selfie camera is 10MP. The phone is supported with a 5,000 mAH battery with fast charging at 45W.
