Raveena Tandon’s father and celebrated filmmaker Ravi Tandon passed away on Friday at the age of 85. His last rites were performed in the evening. Pictures of Raveena performing rituals at her father’s funeral surfaced on the internet. She was accompanied by her brother Rajiv Tandon and husband Anil Thadani.
Director Farah Khan and actor Ridhima Pandit went to meet Raveena after the news came out. He was suffering from lung fibrosis and passed away due to respiratory failure.
Raveena mourned the demise of her father and shared a set of pictures of herself with him. Along with the photos, she wrote, “You will always walk with me, I will always be you, I’m never letting go. Love you papa.”

Ravi Tandon was a famous director, producer and writer in Indian cinema during the 1970s. He has directed some big movies like Anhonee, Khel Khel Mein, Majboor, Khuddar and Zindagi among others. Indian cinema will always be grateful to Ravi Tandon for giving so many fantastic films right from Muqaddar, Nazrana to Ek Mein Aur Ek Tu.
Raveena Tandon who was recently seen in the Netflix series Aranyak has finished dubbing for her part in KGF – Chapter 2. The movie will be released in a variety of languages like Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi on April 14.
