WhatsApp is rolling out a new interface for its app voice calls. Currently, it has rolled out this feature for select beta testers only and on Android. In this interface, it carries waveforms for group voice calls. Along with this, WhatsApp is also working on a new screen for responding to users about their account ban reviews. It adjusts the colour pallets based on the theme chosen by the user.
According to the WhatsApp beta tracker WABeta Info, this update is seen in Android beta version 220.127.116.11. Some users can see it in the Android beta version 18.104.22.168.
This interface was first seen in December month and WhatsApp has been experimenting with it for both Android and iOS. This interface will give users a more compact and modern experience.
WABetaInfo also spotted waveforms for group voice calls. It appears for all participants to inform users about who all are speaking in the call. This interface will be available for iOS beta testers in the coming weeks, WABetaInfo stated.
Along with this, the tracker also informed that they are working on the screen layout that would tell users about the status of their ban review requests. It will look something like this in dark mode.
WhatsApp has a new Commerce policy according to which it will be banning accounts. The users will have the option to request a review of the ban.
