Bollywood’s much-loved movie ‘Ek Villain’ will be coming back with a sequel and this time around the film will feature Disha Patani, John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor, and Tara Sutaria. Disha recently shared a selfie on her Instagram story with ‘it’s a wrap’ written on it.
The Mohit Suri directorial will be his first collaboration with John Abraham. John is reuniting with Disha after the 2020 action-thriller Malang. The sequel is co-produced by television queen Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion pictures and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
John Abraham finished shooting for the film in October 2021 and he described his journey as a ‘seamless experience’.
“There were no complaints. Everything felt too good to be true. I will push aside everything to work with Mohit again. It has been such a beautiful experience. We have got a great film out.” He also congratulated and thanked the entire cast and crew for the film. He said that this might be the next ‘super hit’ movie.
Mohit Suri shares an interesting story that he finally got to direct John Abraham and it was like a dream come true as he was the assistant director in the actor’s debut movie Jism in 2003.
“It has been a long destined dream which has come true. I was destined to work with him since my first movie,” Mohit remarked.
Ek Villain became a popular movie back in 2014 with Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles.
