OnePlus 10 Pro will be released in India in March, with the cheapest 5G OnePlus phone following later
The OnePlus 10 Pro will be available in India by the end of March 2022, while the company’s most cheap 5G phone will be available later this year. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau made the news during a press briefing. The OnePlus 10 Pro has already been released in China and will soon be available in India, competing with other top devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S22, iQOO 9 Pro, and others. Pete also mentioned that the smartphone will be on exhibit at MWC 2022 in Barcelona before going worldwide.
The most inexpensive OnePlus 5G phone
Another intriguing OnePlus announcement is that the company will release its cheapest 5G smartphone to date in 2022. In the second quarter of this year, the phone would be released in India and Europe. This implies that the future phone will be part of the existing Nord lineup. OnePlus, on the other hand, has not revealed the name or any other facts about the future phone.
OnePlus has also announced that SuperVOOC charging would be available on its phones in the second quarter of 2022. OnePlus’ flagship phones will support 150W SuperVOOC charging. It will be compatible with smartphones, tablets, and game consoles. Oppo smartphones are now powered by SuperVOOC charging technology. According to OnePlus, this rapid charging speed is made possible by a bespoke dual battery, an industry-leading battery PCB protection board, and a highly integrated microprocessor, all of which work together to increase overall charging efficiency. It is claimed that it can charge the phone from 0% to 100% in under five minutes.
A new retail model
In 2022, OnePlus will launch a new retail model in India that will serve as a link between online and offline sales platforms. Customers will be able to order OnePlus products online and pick them up in the retail location. Customers will also be able to use OnePlus’s offline services.
