BharatPe accuses Ashneer Grover of misusing company funds to live a luxury lifestyle, dismisses him from all positions

BharatPe, an Indian financial business, has fired Ashneer Grover from all roles inside the company, including his position as a director on the board. Ashneer Grover and his family were charged by BharatPe for misappropriating corporate cash.

According to the corporation, Ashneer Grover resigned as soon as he learned that the firm’s internal records will be audited by independent external experts.

Ashneer Grover swiftly stepped down responsibility by submitting his resignation through email to the Board and presenting yet another false version of the events to the public. According to the statement, the corporation has taken great exception to Mr Grover weaving falsehoods and flinging unsubstantiated charges and threats.

The Grover family and their close family members engaged in numerous misuse of funds of the company, including, but not limited to, creating fraudulent vendors through which they syphoned money away from the company’s expense account and grossly abusing company expenditures in order to enrich themself and fund their lavish lifestyles, according to the complaint.

Mr Grover is no longer an employee, founder, or director of the firm as a result of his actions, according to BharatPe.

Shashvat Nakrani and Bhavik Koladiya started BharatPe in 2018. Ashneer Grover, an angel investor in the firm, joined as a co-founder.
