IMPORTANT NEWS: JEE MAINS 2022 will be held twice, 1st Session to begin from April 16, Know more here.

The NTA (National Testing Agency) on Tuesday announced the dates for Joint Entrance Exam Mains 2022 will be conducted twice. According to the last updates, the 1st session will be held in April while the 2nd session will be in May.

The applications for the JEE Mains 2022 has begun from March 1 and the last date to fill the application is March 31, 2022. For other latest updates, you can check the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The first session will be from April 16 to 21 and session 2 will be from May 24 to 29. The candidates can pay the fees by 11.30 pm on March 31. After this, the application window will be again opened for session 2.

JEE Mains is held for aspirants who wish to pursue education in IITs and NITs in engineering and architecture courses across the country.

According to the updates by JEE, there will be two papers – 1 for Btech and 1 for BArch and Bplanning. The BArch and Bplanning papers will be conducted separately, as Paper 2A and Paper 2B respectively, the NTA said.

Paper 1 will consist of Btech subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Maths while Paper 2A and 2B will have Maths and Aptitude Test in common

Interestingly, the JEE Main 2022 will also be held in other languages such as Bengali Punjabi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Telugu, Urdu in addition to Hindi, English, and Gujarati.
