WhatsApp to get polls like Instagram and Facebook, feature spotted in iOS Beta version, Know more here

WhatsApp is reportedly working on a new feature that will allow you to create polls on group chats. According to WABetaInfo, this feature is still in the works. They are currently working on message reactions with emojis. Group polls are available in other messaging services like Facebook Messenger, Threema and Telegram.

This feature was seen in an iOS beta version, the WhatsApp tracker shared a screenshot where you can see what the feature will look like.

The image says that first, the user will have to enter a question for the poll. With the feature still under development, it is not clear if the poll option will be added in a later stage or will group admins can edit the poll options or whether there will be a time limit to it.

This will eventually be available for the android version as well. Group polls have been a thing in Facebook, Telegram and Threema. It is a great way to make decisions on certain topics or if you are planning a trip or an event. It helps to declutter the group chat.
