Robert Pattinson’s Batman makes $249 Million on opening weekend, Know more here

Just when the International Box Office thought they made a pretty huge number with Tom Holland’s ‘Spider-Man No Way Home’, this one surely might come as a surprise. However, it isn’t a surprise for fans as the trailer screamed that it was already a hit.

The movie has already made $248.5 million (approximately Rs 1,910 crore at the worldwide box office on its opening weekend with a 3-day estimate of $128.5 million (Rs 988 crore) from theatres in the US and Canada and the remaining $120 million (roughly Rs 922 crore) coming in from 74 markets worldwide. The Batman was produced with a $200 million budget.

In India, the blockbuster has already grossed over $3.4 million (roughly Rs. 26 crores) at the box office. This movie gave Warner Bros the biggest opener of 2022 so far making it the highest-grossing film in North America just after one weekend. It is also the 2nd biggest movie of the COVID 19 pandemic era after Spider-Man – No Way Home.

Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman stars superstar Robert Pattinson as Batman and Bruce Wayne and Zoe Kravitz as Selina the cat burglar and Paul Dono as the serial killer Riddler. Westworld fame Jeffrey Wright was Jim Gordon of this movie who supported Batman in and out in his venture. Some reviews also prompted that this script had a cool Sherlock Holmes twist as well.
