The Xiaomi 12 series will go on sale on March 15th. The company acknowledged the global release of its latest flagship phones via its Twitter account. The firm is likely to announce three phones during the event, including the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi 12 Pro.
It should be noted that the Xiaomi 12 series is already available in China, with prices starting at CNY 3,699 (around Rs 43,400). The Xiaomi 12 Pro is priced at CNY 4,699 in China (around Rs 55,100). If Xiaomi intends to introduce these smartphones in India as well, they are anticipated to be priced similarly.
In China, the Xiaomi 12 and its Pro variant are equipped with a flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. The Xiaomi 12 standard model comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It has three rear cameras, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with OIS. It has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor as well as a 5-megapixel macro camera.
The battery of the Xiaomi 12 Pro, on the other hand, is somewhat larger. It includes a 4,600mAh battery and supports 120W rapid wired charging. There are three cameras on the rear, including a 50-megapixel Sony IMX707 wide-angle sensor with OIS. It is aided by a 50-megapixel portrait sensor as well as a 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. On the front of both smartphones is a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
