Redmi India has announced that the Redmi 10 smartphone will be available in India on March 17. The news comes just one day after the smartphone debuted its Note 11 Pro series during an online event in Bengaluru. It is worth noting that Redmi India hinted the introduction of a Redmi 10 phone with the Note 11 Pro series announcement.
Given that Redmi currently sells the Note 11 for Rs 13,499, it is possible that the Redmi 10 would be priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 13,000 for various models. It is significant since the Note series’ entrance point has just risen. At the time of its release, last year’s Note 10 was priced at Rs 12,499, while this year’s Note 11 series begins at Rs 13,499.
The forthcoming Redmi 10 is expected to provide significant improvements over the Redmi 9. The latter, as previously stated, had a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The Redmi 10 comes with an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor, up to 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. The phone had a dual-rear camera configuration as well as an LED flash.
The device’s primary camera is a 13-megapixel sensor supported by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The phone includes a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It has a 5000mAh battery, a micro-USB connector for charging, and a fingerprint scanner on the back.
