If Not JEE Main then what should you opt for? List of Engg exams to consider, Read Here

Every year millions of students try their best to get the best rank in JEE Mains organized by the National Testing Agency for admission to various B.Tech and B.Arch courses. There are two papers in JEE Mains, one is dedicated to engineering courses and the other one is dedicated to architecture courses. JEE Mains is also an eligibility test for JEE Advanced that is conducted for IIT admissions.

Here is a list of exams that you must consider if you don’t get a good rank at JEE:

  • VITEEE: Vellore Institute of Technology conducts the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). Students seeking admissions to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) programmes offered at VIT Campuses i.e. Vellore, Chennai, Amravati and Bhopal can apply for VITEEE. There are over 20 B.Tech courses in VIT include Bio-Technology, Bio-Medical, Civil, Chemical, Computer Science, ECE, EEE, EIE, IT, Mechanical (Energy Engineering), Mechanical (Automotive Engineering), Production & Industrial Engineering.
  • SRMJEEE: SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology for admission in BTech programmes offered by the institute. The campus of SRM is situated in Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, Ramapuram, Tiruchirappalli Delhi NCR Campus – Ghaziabad.
  • BITSAT: Many engineering aspirants take the BITSAT exam for taking admission to engineering courses offered by the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) in Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad.

You can apply for these exams on their official website. Apart from these exams, engineering students can also consider IPU CET, KIITEE and COMEDK exams.
