WhatsApp now allows certain users to use the message responses feature: This is how it works

The message responses functionality on WhatsApp has begun to be rolled out. We have been hearing about this feature for a long time, and soon we will be able to test it out.

While WhatsApp does not support animated emoticons, users can respond to specific messages with conventional emojis. To respond to messages on WhatsApp, users just touch on any message, and the app will display an emoji box. You may then select one of them, and WhatsApp will add your emoji to that message.

For the time being, users can only receive six reactions: Like, Love, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Thanks. In comparison, Telegram has more than ten emoticons.

The Meta-owned firm took its time releasing the message responses function. However, the functionality has not yet been made available to all users. It is being given out to select beta testers, but a steady rollout of the same is scheduled to come in the following months.

Aside from this functionality, WhatsApp has also released the stable version of the multi-device capability, which is no longer in beta phase. The previous version had various faults and had problems synchronising all of the chats across devices. The latest update must fix that and now you’ll be able to quickly use WhatsApp on multiple devices without linking it to your primary device.
