Parineeti Chopra, who was set to co-star with Ranbir Kapoor in Animal, has pulled out of the project. She took the decision because she wanted to be a part of Imtiaz Ali’s directorial debut, Chamkila. According to reports, the two films had overlapping release dates.
PARINEETI CHOPRA REJECTS ANIMAL IN FAVOR OF CHAMKILA
SS Rajamouli recently inquired to Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga whether Ranbir’s role in the film is comparable to Kabir Singh. The buzz around Animal is undeniably strong. Parineeti, on the other hand, will not be a part of it. She declined the project because of the conflicting release dates of Animal and Imtiaz Ali’s Chamkila.
According to a source, Parineeti will collaborate with Imtiaz Ali for the first time as the heroine in the ace director’s upcoming film, Chamkila. It’s a watershed moment for her since she’s always wanted to work artistically with the brilliant filmmaker.
