OnePlus Nord 2T is expected to be released with a new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC and 80W fast charging

OnePlus appears to be aiming to sell T series phones in its affordable category as well. According to reports, the OnePlus Nord 2T smartphone will be unveiled in the next months.

The OnePlus Nord 2T might be powered by the recently introduced MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC, according to tipster Yogesh Brar. The gadget is said to include a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Previous rumours stated that the next OnePlus Nord phone will have a punch-hole display and three cameras on the rear.

It is likely to have a standard 4,500mAh battery under the hood. OnePlus is said to be adding support for 80W fast charging to the Nord 2T.

The device is believed to include a triple back camera array, including a 50-megapixel main Sony IMX766 camera with Optical Image Stabilization capability (OIS). It will be combined with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel monochrome camera, according to reports. A 32-megapixel sensor may be visible on the front.

It’s worth noting that OnePlus hasn’t officially acknowledged the existence of the Nord 2T smartphone, so customers should take the information with a grain of salt. According to rumours, the OnePlus Nord 2T would be available in India in April or early May. The OnePlus Nord 3 is expected to be released in July of this year.
