After launching new prepaid plans ranging in the 300s, Vi has introduced 2 new prepaid validity priced at Rs 107 and Rs 111 with different validity limits. The Rs 111 recharge plan is valid for 31 days and the Rs 107 plan is valid for 30 days.
In January, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) directed telecom operators to offer recharge plans with a validity of one month.
The plan of Rs 111 includes a talk time of Rs 111 and voice calls can be made at 1 paise per second, Along with this, they will also get 200MB of data. However, there are no free outgoing SMS messages in this plan. The Rs 107 plan also has the same features but with 30-day validity.
Before TRAI bought this new rule, Vi had a plan of Rs 99 that gives 28-day validity, 200MB data and calls at 1 paise per second (no free SMS). In this case of the 30 days and 31 days validity, only the price is raised, rest everything is the same. Airtel also offers an identical recharge plan to its customers.
As we were talking about the higher Vi plans, it has 2 varieties – Rs 327 and Rs 377. Both the plans offer unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages and 25 GB of data. Read more about the plans here.
