Vivo X80’s key specifications have been leaked online, and it is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC

The Vivo X80 series is expected to be released in China later this month. It will be the successor to the Vivo X70 series, which debuted in September 2021.

As per reports, the company will only release two phones this year. These will be the regular Vivo X80 and its Pro variant. As per the quoted source, the Vivo X80 would include a 6.78-inch E5 AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution. The panel might also handle a refresh rate of 120Hz. Vivo is claimed to offer DC dimming as well.

Under the hood, the smartphone might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 Chipset. The Chipset also powers the premium Oppo Find X5 Pro smartphone. The Vivo X80 Pro may additionally have an X-axis linear motor for improved tactile feedback. It might have a 4,000mm square VC heat dissipation chamber.

The smartphone is rumoured to include a triple back camera system in terms of optics. According to reports, it will have a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor, a 13-megapixel secondary camera, and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor. A 44-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls may be found on the front.

The Vivo X80 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to come with the same display as the standard model. The Pro version, on the other hand, will supposedly include a QHD+ screen. For biometric authentication, it might include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. According to the rumours, the device will include a 4,700mAh battery under the hood, as well as the capability for 80W fast charging.
