The NTA on Wednesday rescheduled the dates of JEE Mains engineering entrance exam to June and July. The JEE Mains 2022 Session 1 will start on June 20 and finish on June 29. Session 2 will begin on July 21 and finish on July 30.
“JEE (Main) dates rescheduled to enable students across the country to prepare well for the exams,” the NTA wrote on Twitter.
“The registration for session 1 is over now. The schedule for inviting the online Application Forms for session 2 of JEE (Main) – 2022 will be available soon,” the NTA notification mentioned. Earlier, a section of students ran a campaign on Twitter demanding 4 attempts and a sufficient gap between the sessions.
The candidates who are preparing for the entrance exam can visit the official website of NTA at nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in. JEE Mains is conducted for UG engineering programs like BE and B.Tech for NITs, IITs, and other centrally funded technical institutes. It is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced) that is conducted for admissions to IITs.
