OnePlus appears to be contemplating the debut of a new range. Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese leaker, reports that the company is working on a new OnePlus Ace smartphone, which might be released in the coming months.
While no official confirmation has been provided, the OnePlus Ace has been discovered on the Geekbench database website. According to the listing, the gadget received 962 points in the single-core test and 3,819 points in the multi-core test. It implies that the rumoured OnePlus Ace may use a MediaTek chipset rather than a Snapdragon SoC. The smartphone might be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Chipset, with up to 12GB of RAM.
It even implies that the OnePlus Ace will launch with the Android 12 operating system out of the box. The tipster adds that the smartphone would include a textured back panel and fast charging functionality, which is not surprising.
So far, reports indicate that the OnePlus Ace would have a large 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate capability. The display will have a Full HD+ resolution. It might ship with a standard 4,500mAh battery that supports 150W fast charging. In terms of optics, we may see a 50-megapixel main camera at the rear with Optical Image Stabilization capabilities (OIS).
The remaining features are currently unclear, but additional information is likely to be released soon. The OnePlus Ace is expected to be released in the next quarter.
