Have you lost your SBI debit card? Here’s how to block it and obtain a new one

Customers of the State Bank of India (SBI) can limit the use of their SBI ATM/debit card via phone calls and SMS. If you misplace your ATM card, you can quickly disable the card associated with your account. Send an SMS with the text ‘BLOCKspace>last four digits of the card’ to 567676 from your registered mobile phone. SBI clients can now utilise our toll-free IVR facility to ban and renew a debit card. d’.

To ban an SBI debit card, follow these steps:

To deactivate the SBI card, press 2.

Enter the last 5 digits of the account number to block the card.

Your card will be successfully disabled, an SMS confirmation will be sent to your registered number.

-From the drop-down menu, choose ‘Request.’

-Select a card number.

Using a mobile app

In the top left corner, tap the ‘Menu tab.’

A reissue/replacement fee of Rs 100 plus taxes would be levied in the event of a reissue/replacement.
