Gauri Pradhan will reteam with Hiten Tejwani for the Sarojini Naidu movie, playing his daughter

Gauri Pradhan and Hiten Tejwani will reunite on screen for the first time in a long time. The duo has landed key roles in the forthcoming film Sarojini, which is a biography of Indian Nightingale Sarojini Naidu. In the film, Hiten will play Sarojini Naidu’s husband, Govindarajulu Naidu.

As per our sources, Gauri Pradhan will portray Padmaja Naidu, Sarojini Naidu, and Govindarajulu Naidu’s daughter in the film. In an exclusive interview with writer Dhiraj Mishra stated that Gauri Pradhan will play Padmaja in Sarojini.

Padmaja’s portrayal caught Gauri Pradhan’s interest when he read the screenplay to her. She smiled when he told her she’d be playing Hiten’s daughter. She stated that it will not be an issue because they are performers who enjoy taking on new challenges, according to the film’s writer, Dhiraj Mishra.

When he told her about her part, she stated she wanted to learn more about Padmaja Naidu so she could do justice to her character, he continued.

Shanti Priya and Sonal Monteiro play the key roles in Sarojini. Zarina Wahab, a veteran actress, will play Sarojini Naidu’s mother, Varada Sundari Devi, in the film, which will be produced in four languages: Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu. Vinay Chandra will helm the film, which was written by Yashomati and Dhiraj Mishra.
