The company’s head, Adam Mosseri announced the same via Twitter and said that these changes will be crucial to creators and “incredibly important to Instagram’s future”.
A few other new features are Product tags and Enhanced tags where the bio category will show up when users are tagged in a picture/video.

Talking about the ranking change, Mosseri said that the modifications are focused on the idea of originality. “If you create something from scratch, you should get more credit than if you are resharing something that you found from someone else. We’re going to do more to try and value original content more, particularly compared to reposted content”, he said.
The product tags option is now available for all. With this, you can tag your favourite product and drive traffic to that business or creator of the product. The enhance tags modify how normal tags show up on a post. For example, if you have a tailored category for your account on your bio, the category will show along with your name in the tags.
